Port Hope, Ontario library helps welcome Syrian refugees

Public libraries are well known for reacting to the changing needs of their communities.With news that a wave of newcomer refugees from Syria and Iraq will be moving from their war-torn countries to Port Hope, staff at Port Hope Public Library are responding.We have added recently Mango Languages to our selection of free online resources.Mango Languages is linguist-approved software that teaches real conversations in over 71 languages. It’s free for all library patrons and can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection and a Port Hope Public Library card.
